名上外附中初二双语班的学生组成,学生英语基础相对扎实,思维活跃,口头表达能力较好。上外附中的英语教学采用《全国外国语学校系列教材:综合英语教程》,其中第四册第7单元为Entertainment—Music,故而将牛津9B
Module2RecreationandEntertainment作为补充内容。本课为牛津英语教材9BUnit4的Reading部分:“StudentsseestarsinHollywood”。(1)从文本的结构来看,这是一篇描述细致、生动的新
闻采访稿。文章先交代背景,再描述个人经历及感受。脉络清晰,便于学生理解并复述。(2)从文本的内容来看,两位学生介绍了好莱坞的MoviePark之行,学生在阅读时能感受到游览的乐趣。(3)从文本的语言来看,
和电影拍摄有关的词汇及多处出现的idioms为重点,通过图片辅助及上下文猜测词义等方式帮助学生理解意思。此外,本文在描绘个人经历时语言生动,需要学生品味其中的选词乐趣。本课注重培养学生阅读中predicting、skimming、scanning、analyzin
g、inferring的能力,并引导学生品读语言的生动性。二.教学环节设计说明1.Pre-reading(1)通过剪辑两段学生熟悉的电影片段,直观地引入单元主题—films,激发学生的兴趣,并导入生词学习。(2)
通过拆解书本P54的Ex.A,运用图片直观地帮助学生激活背景知识、学习生词。(3)通过报刊文章的标题及介绍,进行预测训练,为课文学习做好准备。2.While-reading(1)通过skimming,让学生抓住文章大意,
对文章内容分段及概括。(2)通过对第二段theDinosaurJungle的详细阅读,比较文本和插图的一致性,并从感官方面分析其吸引人的原因。(3)通过对第三段theGreatWaveattraction的详细阅读,参照
第二段的分析手法,让学生自行分析其吸引人的原因;通过背景音乐(风平浪静—巨浪滔天—震耳欲聋)及对应的画面引导学生有情绪地朗读并品味语言,赏析选词带来的“动”感。(4)通过仔细阅读最后两段,推测出两位主人公的情绪变化,并学习文中的idioms。(5)通过sum
mary和retell练习,检测学生对于文章及idioms的理解。3.Post-reading教师设置采访情境,文中主人公Roddy在20年后成为了知名导演,做客Interview4/4Time节目。教师播放节目的开场视频,视频包括Rodd
y简介及新电影画面,旨在调动学生积极性、明确采访内容。学生两两配对,一人为记者,一人为Roddy进行采访。通过采访,学生能综合运用课堂所学内容,并发挥想象完成任务。4.Homework(1)根据课上的采访活动撰写采访稿,帮助学生巩
固课堂所学内容。(2)让学生配着背景音乐朗读课文,进一步品读课文。
