anypapercuttingskillsweredevelopedincludingdraftingandtheuseofsmokedpapers.BytheendoftheQingruling,however,pa
percuttingwasonceonthedeclinebecausenewartformswerebeingintroduced.TheRepublicofChinalatertriedtorevivethe
artinthe1980s.Today,papercut-outsarechieflydecorative.Theydecoratewalls,windows,doors,columns,mirrors,la
