nTemplewasfoundedin495ADduringtheNorthernWeiDynasty.ItwasfirstbuilttohousetheIndianmonkBatuo,whowasinvitedtoChinatospreadBuddhism.Overthecenturies

Grottoes,locatedinDatongCity,ShanxiProvince,China,isoneofthemostfamousancientBuddhistgrottoesintheworld.Itisamasterpiec

eofChineseBuddhistart,andislistedasaWorldCulturalHeritageSitebyUNESCO.TheYungangGrottoeswerebuiltintheNorthernWeiDynasty(386-534AD).Itiscompos

edof252grottoes,withmorethan51,000stonestatues,rangingfrom1centimeterto17metersinheight.Thestatuesarevividandlifelike,andthecarvingsareex

quisiteanddelicate.Thegrottoesaredividedintofiveparts,eachofwhichhasitsowncharacteristics.TheYungangGrottoesarenotonlyatreasurehouseofCh

eandareopentothepublic.乐山大佛TheLeshanGiantBuddha,locatedinLeshanCity,SichuanProvince,istheworld'slargeststoneBuddhastatue.ItiscarvedonthecliffofLi

ngyunMountainintheeastofLeshanCity.Itis71metershighandhasahistoryofmorethan1,200years.Itisamasterpiec

eofChineseancientsculptureart.TheLeshanGiantBuddhaisasittingBuddhastatue.ItissaidthatthestatuewasbuiltbyamonknamedHaitongintheTangDynasty.Hew

touristsfromallovertheworldcometovisittheLeshanGiantBuddha.Itisamust-seefortouristswhocomeChina.赵州桥TheZhaozhouBridge,alsoknownastheAnjiB

ridge,isaChinesebridgelocatedinZhaoxianCounty,HebeiProvince.Itistheoldestopen-spandrelstonesegmentalarchbridgeintheworld,andisconsideredthe

world'sfirstfullyfunctionalopen-spandrelstonebridge.Builtintheyear605ADduringtheSuiDynasty,thebridgehasatotallengthof37metersandawidthof9.6meter

s.Itiscomposedof28stonearches,eachwithaspanof3.4meters.Thebridgeisconstructedwithauniquecombinationofstoneandwood,andissupportedbya

seriesofstonepiers.Thebridgeisrenownedforitselegantdesignandremarkabledurability,havingwithstoodthete

stoftimeforover1,400years.ItisatestamenttotheingenuityofChineseengineeringandisapopulartouristattraction.大雁塔TheGreatWildGoosePagoda,locatedintheanci

ory,andisamust-seeforanyonevisitingXi'an.Itisareminderofthecity'srichpast,andatestamenttothepoweroffaithanddevotion.
