ShanxiProvince,China,isoneofthemostfamousancientBuddhistgrottoesintheworld.ItisamasterpieceofChineseBuddhistart,and
islistedasaWorldCulturalHeritageSitebyUNESCO.TheYungangGrottoeswerebuiltintheNorthernWeiDynasty(386-534AD).Itiscomposedof252grotto
es,withmorethan51,000stonestatues,rangingfrom1centimeterto17metersinheight.Thestatuesarevividandlifelike,andthecarvingsareexquisiteanddelica

pen-spandrelstonebridge.Builtintheyear605ADduringtheSuiDynasty,thebridgehasatotallengthof37metersandawidthof9.6meters.Itiscomposedof28sto
