e.ScienceofWork,BasedontheTruthsTakenfromtheNaturalScience).•FrederickWinslowTaylorpioneeredthe"ScientificManagement"method,whichproposedawayto
findtheoptimummethodforcarryingoutagiventaskintheearly19thcentury.•FrankandLillianGilbrethexpandedTaylor'smethodsintheearly1900sto
develop"TimeandMotionStudies".Theyaimedtoimproveefficiencybyeliminatingunnecessarystepsandactionswhichincreasethebrickl
ayer’sproductivityfrom120to350bricksperhour.•WorldWarIImarkedthedevelopmentofnewandcomplexmachinesandweaponry,Itwasob
